I am originally from Middlesbrough in the UK, though I spent much of my adult life in Australia, and I have travelled the world as a chef, having worked in 10 different countries. I have visited Thailand regularly as a tourist since 1983 and have now lived here as a retiree for eight years since moving from Australia in 2017.
